The service used by the professionals, now available to you!

Why use my services above other analysts?

I have over 11 years experience working in both the British and US film and television industries.

After graduating film school in London I moved to Los Angeles to become Director of Development for a film production company. After several years I left to pursue my writing career, while still continuing to consult and script doctor feature screenplays for Hollywood production companies and professional screenwriters.

While working in Hollywood, I guest lectured at UCLA & USC film schools, The San Diego World Film Festival, The Writers Boot Camp (Los Angeles) and for The Independent Film Project West (Los Angeles). I have had articles published in several film industry books and judged a whole host of screenplay competitions.

Since returning to the UK in 2002, I have worked consistently as a commissioned screenwriter on film scripts and British TV drama. While still continuing to write my own original feature screenplays and consult on film projects, I find time to analyze scripts in the USA and UK.

My commitment to the education and promotion of up-and-coming screenwriting talent lead me to create a successful screenwriting course at the London Academy. To this day, I continue to lecture at Universities across the country in various aspects of screenwriting.

I am committed to using my extensive experience writing and developing film and television screenplays to motivate, inspire and drive writers to achieve the highest standards and reach their creative best.

In my career I have read thousands of screenplays. This experience alone has made me capable of spotting an original idea when I read it. I also pride myself in having a unique eye when it comes to discovering talent.

Final note:
I am constructive but honest. It is vital that you are able to take criticism openly and use that criticism to your advantage. All writers, even seasoned professionals take advice and criticism from colleagues and peers. They all understand it's an essential part of the process in producing successful work.
